SUMMARY:Derbyshire Scouts Activation
DESCRIPTION:We have been asked to cover this event with photo and video con
 tent to support their current small team.  They have given us 4 slots. Ev
 ent details below.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nNo charge\, but optional £22 fee for cat
 ering throughout the event including a carvery upon conclusion.\n\n——
 ——\nActivation is a full day of taster activities\, laid on by the Cou
 nty Active Support Units.\nSaturday is for Cubs and younger Scouts\, Sunda
 y is for Scouts and Explorers.\n Participants  (Not us) need to bring th
 eir own food/drinks and you need to organise your own transport to site.\n
 The event takes place near Carsington Water and is a one day event. Activ
 ities will include rock climbing\, sailing\, caving\, archery &amp\; air r
 ifle\, geocaching\, mountain biking\, crate stacking\, survival skills &am
 p\; canoeing to name a few. Each Young Person will be able to participate 
 in 4 Activity sessions on the day. It is important to remember that these 
 are introductory sessions of the activities and follow the same format as 
 previous years.\n\n&nbsp\;
